Corporate wellness is a way businesses encourage healthy habits in the workplace. When employees have more options to be healthy at work, they may feel happier, more productive and less likely to take time off for sickness absence. Yoga and Corporate Mindfulness programs are a great way to establish a culture that fosters good employee health and well-being. At Soul Seed Yoga we offer a number of fun and interactive workshops and programs that can be delivered both onsite and online.

Mindful Leadership Workshop (2.5hrs onsite)

Studies show that increased levels of mindfulness reduce employee stress, increase work-life balance, improve performance, and enhance engagement. Through the practice of mindfulness, we create better leaders and better leaders make better teams. Every person is a leader whether they know it or not. You do not have to manage a team to be a leader; we all lead in one way or another.

In this workshop we will explore what mindfulness is and how we can implement simple and effective techniques into our daily lives. Cultivating the ability to bring non-judgmental attention to the present moment will harness a greater sense of ease as well as the ability to lean into, and work through the challenges that are a normal part of our lives. Through fun and interactive activities including journaling, meditation, skilful listening techniques and insights into our habitual patterns and behaviours, we will learn to bring awareness to the now, build resilience and improve team working skills.

Mindful Juggling (45 mins online or onsite)

This fun and enjoyable workshop is a great way to engage your teams in a light-hearted and entertaining activity. Included 

  • Mindful Meditation

  • Juggling lesson

  • Mindful breathing

Creative Circles - Build your own Mandala (2hrs onsite)

Mandalas, meaning circles in Sanskrit, have long been used as tools for meditation and are seen as a sacred symbols by many traditions. These beautiful concentric designs can symbolize the circle of life, day and night, light and dark, yin and yang – ever moving round and round and never-ending. We find mandalas abundantly in nature; throw a pebble in to a still lake and observe the ripple or cut open a kiwi fruit to reveal the intricate design.

Jung described making mandalas as a form of visual journaling and this will be our intention for this creative workshop. Tuning into and trusting our inner wisdom, we will tap into our innate creativity as we intuitively paint our own beautiful mandala. By absorbing yourself in this practice you will notice a sense of calmness, clarity and focus.

This workshop is a great way for busy teams to take a brief respite from the pressures of a challenging work environment and collectively move from a heightened state of fight and flight to rest digest.

 By the end of this workshop participants will:

  • Have a great sense of clarity and calm

  • Feel noticeably lighter

  • Have improved concentration and focus

  • Created a beautiful piece of art!

Managing Stress - Learn to Breathe (1 hr onsite or online)

Many of us pay very little attention to the involuntary process of breathing and are therefore not aware that we could be breathing in a way that is not good for our health. Every system in the body requires oxygen and therefore every breath is important. Bad breathing techniques can lead to poor cognitive functions, bad digestion, sleep issues, high blood pressure and a myriad of health issues. Improved breathing techniques will not only support good health but will improve stress levels at work.

In this workshop we will explore and practice a range of breathing techniques to improve breathing function increasing vital energy and oxygen in the body. By the end of this workshops participants will have a number of tools at their disposal to implement into their day to day and increase parasympathetic nervous system function.

With the ever-increasing demands and pressures of work yoga is a great way to improve and maintain your employee’s health and well-being, whist at the same time boost performance and productivity. Studies have shown a regular yoga practice can:

Corporate Chair Yoga (30mins) on person or online

Sitting is the new smoking! Research has shown that sitting for too long without adequate moving and stretching can create a myriad of health issues. As well as musculoskeletal issues, many illnesses such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes can be affected by sitting for too long.

If we spend long periods sitting at desks it is imperative that we take the time to move and stretch. Our busy work schedules can make it challenging to take the time to move away from the desk, so a regular Chair yoga practice could be the answer.

These sessions are designed for anyone who spends large parts of their day sitting. No previous yoga experience is required and is suitable for all bodies and levels of fitness.
