Experience the Power of Kirtan & Chanting with Kate Croft

  • 137B Mentone Parade Mentone ViC (map)

Join us for an uplifting journey of sacred sound!

Chanting refers to the repetition of sacred sounds, words, or phrases—often mantras. In Kirtan, chanting may involve mantras, names of deities and affirmations of love, love and unity. The repetition is not just musical—it is a spiritual practice meant to calm the mind, open the heart, and elevate consciousness. This induces a meditative state and deep focus. Kirtan and chanting promote emotional release, joy, and healing. This strengthens a sense of community and shared purpose.

What’s more, studies show that Kirtan and chanting activate the vagus nerve, aiding relaxation and nervous system regulation and encourages spiritual connection.
